On December 12, the 28th National Invention Exhibition, themed “Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS Nations Skill Development and Technological Innovation Competition,” opened in the Chysanthemum Garden of Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City. Dexiang Biotechnology showcased its innovative microfluidic blood transfusion technology at the exhibition and won two major awards.
This year's exhibition, themed “Intelligence Gathers in Zhongshan, Flourishing in the Bay Area,” covered seven halls and spanned more than 10,000 square meters. Nearly a thousand invention and innovation projects from over 400 innovative entities were displayed, including large state-owned enterprises from the Fortune 500, unicorn companies, renowned universities, research institutes, traditional Chinese medicine enterprises, low-altitude economy businesses, and primary and secondary schools.
The exhibition featured dedicated areas highlighting new forms of productive forces, the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine, and other sectors, showcasing China's outstanding technological achievements. Exhibitors from across the country presented numerous innovative inventions spanning various fields, including smart hardware, new materials, biomedicine, and environmental technologies.
Throughout the event, in addition to the domestic invention and innovation exhibition, a series of engaging activities took place, such as the Belt and Road Initiative and BRICS Nations Skill Development and Technological Innovation Competition for smart hardware application and development, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Unicorn Enterprise Conference, and intellectual property project roadshows.
Dexbio's project stood out among numerous entries and won a Gold Award at the exhibition, as well as the IFIA (International Federation of Inventors' Associations) International Invention Award. The company's General Manager, Wang Xiuzhu, took the stage to accept the awards.
Since its inception in 1985, the National Invention Exhibition has been held 27 times, showcasing nearly 100,000 invention projects. The IFIA International Invention Award, established by the International Federation of Inventors' Associations, recognizes individuals and teams who have achieved excellence in the field of invention and innovation. This award is typically presented at major international invention exhibitions such as the Nuremberg International Invention Exhibition in Germany and the Pittsburgh International Invention Exhibition in the United States. The winning projects not only need to have breakthroughs in technological innovation but must also demonstrate practical benefits in real-world applications.
As an innovative enterprise in the blood transfusion diagnostics industry, Dexbio will continue to uphold the scientific spirit of “fearless innovation,” actively exploring and innovating to provide higher-quality products and services for patients, while embodying the company's philosophy of “Excellence and Care, Protecting Life.”
